Wave Consulting principals Dyan Dunsmoor-Farley and MaryLynne Rimer offer almost six combined decades of experience working with government and community organizations.

Dyan Dunsmoor-Farley

Dyan's areas of specialization are project management, strategic planning and team building. She has advised (British Columbia) provincial ministers in six administrations on social and health policy in the areas of child care, child welfare, income support, youth justice, mental health, addictions, services to children with special needs and adults with development disabilities, continuing care, women's equality and Aboriginal issues prior to founding Wave Consulting Ltd with MaryLynne Rimer . A founding member of the Community Social Services Employers' Association, Dyan is currently the national Co-Chair of the Canadian Health Network Advisory Board and sits on the board of the Gabriola Land and Trails Trust.  She is a  former member of the BC Forensic Psychiatric Services Commission, and the former Chair of her neighbourhood association. When she isn't working, Dyan is an avid gardener, photographer , and sports enthusiast.

MaryLynne Rimer

MaryLynne's particular focus is policy, legislation, program development, research and evaluation, and multidisciplinary policy and practice, incorporating her extensive experience in early childhood education and care, and child and youth care. She has spent almost three decades working for community groups and with the government. She spent fifteen years working in ECE and child and youth care, on the front lines and in management. As a senior manager with the Ministry of the Attorney-General, MaryLynne was instrumental in designing and implementing the first Children's Commission in Canada. MaryLynne's articles have been published in a number of professional journals. She is a member of the Institute for Public Administration Canada, Chair of Community Involvement with the BC Youth Health Consortium, and former Co-Chair of the Bridges for Women Society. Off hours, MaryLynne enjoys travel, gardening and golf.
